A friend of mine at the Experimental Aircraft Association emailed me, inviting me down to Oshkosh to drop in on AirVenture.
EAA's AirVenture event is debatedly the largest gathering of just about anything in North East Wisconsin. Somewhere between 300,000 and 500,000 people show up for the event where nearly 15,000 aircraft assemble to create the busiest airport in the world (well, for a couple days). It is a beautiful show with a lot of learning workshops and an amazing amount of innovation on display.
I brought my Canon 5D mark III along for the ride and snapped a bunch of pictures. Here are a few. Enjoy! (Click any image to see a larger version as a slideshow.)
