Android Tops iPhone
Apple opinions are now taking a formal backseat to the market alternatives. As of the first quarter of 2010 both the leading mobile operating system as well as the leading mobile browser are not owned by Apple.
Web Marketing Via Slideshows
Web design is getting more complicated today. I recall a day when designers could craft a visual design comp, PDF it, and send it to the client and it basically left nothing to the imagination. Early web design didn't move, didn't interact and the more confusing the site was, the more notoriety it seemed to get for being creative or inspiring. We are a long way from those days!
Retiring Design Techniques
In the world of design there will always be traditional techniques that endure. And the principles for good design while learned require creative insight and inspiration and talent for application. The second major point was all about assuring the citizens of the U.S. that BP (the oil company which owned the deep sea drill) would be footing the bill.
Apple Steve Jobs Letter Rebuttal
As you may know by now, Steve Jobs wrote a letter about why Apple won't be including Flash in their mobile platform any time soon. There is so much to say about the content of this letter, that it would take multiple blogs to say it all.
HTML5 Compliance
I recently watched a video where someone was demoing HTML5 websites on an iPad. The video is an eye-opener. Steve Jobs wrote a letter claiming that HTML5 is the future, but more importantly it is the answer today if you want to produce sites with the type of interactive content typically found in sites employing Flash.
